Honorees are selected primarily based on client satisfaction. We meticulously review publicly available testimonials and evaluations to assess each candidate’s commitment to excellence.

Individuals cannot nominate themselves. However, if you believe you meet the following minimum criteria—practicing law for at least three years, possessing at least five public, independent, and verified excellent reviews, and maintaining a clean disciplinary record—you may submit a cover letter (maximum 1,000 words) detailing your qualifications to info@legalstarsofexcellence.com. Please note that due to the highly competitive nature of our selection process, it may take up to five years to be considered, as we select a limited number of lawyers each year.

There is no fee to be nominated. However, to be awarded our excellence recognition, which includes numerous benefits, there is an annual fee. This fee supports our research and the administration of the award program. We do not accept funding from any law firms or institutions to maintain our independence. Please note that you cannot pay to be nominated; kindly refrain from sending emails attempting to do so.

New honorees are selected quarterly.

Membership continuation depends on maintaining our high standards. Members undergo annual reassessment, and those who fall below our 85/100 threshold will not be eligible for renewal. Your membership can continue indefinitely as long as you maintain our required standards of excellence.

Custom-made plaques and crystal awards are typically delivered within 2-4 weeks of membership confirmation, though some cases may require up to 6 weeks for completion.

Nominations have limited validity periods because:

1. Our assessments reflect current standing and qualifications
2. We maintain strict membership quotas (maximum 1% of licensed lawyers)

Expired nominations within 3 days may be reinstated upon request (email your request to info@legalstarsofexcellence.com). Beyond that window, candidates may be reconsidered in future selection rounds within 5 years, provided they maintain qualifying standards.

Yes. Simply forward your nomination access code to your employer for payment processing.

Memberships remain active until their annual renewal date. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current membership period rather than immediately.

While we value our members’ professional judgment, we currently maintain an independent selection process that does not accept nominations from existing members. This policy helps ensure objectivity in our evaluation process.
