1. Trademark Protection

  • The name “Legal Stars of Excellence” and our logo are protected by common law trademark rights. They cannot be used without explicit written consent from Legal Stars of Excellence Ltd.. Unauthorized use of our trademark or logo is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

2. Nomination Process

  • Nominations for the Legal Stars of Excellence awards cannot be submitted by the public. Instead, individuals are selected by our internal committee based on predefined criteria.
  • Once selected, nominees will receive an invitation to participate and must complete an acceptance form. This form requires nominees to provide accurate and truthful information. Any false or misleading information may result in disqualification.

3. Judging and Selection

  • The selection process is conducted by an independent panel with expertise in the legal field.
  • Any individuals involved in the selection process are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from evaluating nominees where such conflicts exist.
  • The decision of the judging panel is final and not subject to appeal.

4. Confidentiality

  • All nomination materials and deliberations are confidential. Information will only be used for the purpose of evaluating nominees and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

5. Intellectual Property

  • By participating, you grant Legal Stars of Excellence the right to use your name, likeness, and professional information for promotional purposes related to the awards.
  • All content on the Legal Stars of Excellence website, including text, graphics, and logos, is the property of Legal Stars of Excellence and protected by trademark and copyright laws.

6. Code of Conduct

  • Participants are expected to adhere to our Code of Conduct, which promotes integrity, respect, and professionalism.
  • Any behavior that violates our Code of Conduct may result in disqualification and removal from the program.

7. Liability

  • Legal Stars of Excellence is not responsible for any technical issues, including but not limited to website downtime or data loss, that may affect the submission or evaluation process.
  • Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Legal Stars of Excellence Ltd. from any claims arising from their participation in the awards.

8. Amendments

  • Legal Stars of Excellence Ltd. reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any significant changes via our website.

9. Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of both the United States and Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts of the respective country where the issue originated.
